At Falcon.io we are currently looking for someone to lead our People Operations department on both a strategic and operational level. Our new VP of People and Culture should have experience in all aspects of people operations but also believe in a business-oriented approach to HR and operations. You believe that the strategic decisions in your department should closely align with the business goals and depend on the needs of the organization. Also, you are comfortable communicating with all layers of the organization and are eager to work as a sparring partner to the CEO and the executive leadership team. You thrive in fast-changing organization with all the operational opportunities and challenges it brings with it. Additionally, you feel very comfortable working in a young, extremely ambitious and informal team and organization. Responsibilities •Long term strategy for recruitment, retention and HR •Align the business needs with operational goals •Manage the People Operations and Office Management teams & processes •Ensure alignment across operational functions •Act as a sparring partner, coach and adviser to the CEO and the executive leadership team •Oversee overall recruitment numbers & forecast •Develop employee performance and development process •Manage a variety of projects that directly impact positive employee experience •Ensure operational backbone of policies, procedures and practices are completed (and compliant with local legislation) for all Falcon offices •Strengthen and oversee Employer Branding and employee/candidates touch points (Glassdoor etc.) Requirements •10+ years experience from HR generalist and/or HR management position in international organizations, alternatively running a line of business •5+ years of people management experience •5+ years experience with recruitment processes and strategies, either hands on or as manager of a recruitment team •Proven track record of working with culture and/or identity in a fast-moving organization, ideally in high growth startups/scaleups •Experience with change management and employee development, preferably as internal projects •You strike the right balance and timing between being strategic and operational •Having worked in different countries, especially countries where Falcon operates, is a plus •Ability to travel to our other offices on an ad hoc basis (approx. 10% of the time) At Falcon we believe that passion is key.
