The Danish Technological Institute in Odense is currently seeking an innovation-projects consultant to head the largest welfare-technology, research and innovation project in Denmark. As well playing an active role within our Innovation Network for Health and Welfare Technology, the position focusses on user-driven innovation and prototype development to expand our activities in the field of technology-based welfare and health solutions. Project management, design and prototype development As our new consultant, your primary task will be to manage a range of specific activities in the patient (at) home (PATH) programme (Denmark’s largest R&D platform within the field of health and welfare technology) as well as manage similar projects and activities in the field. In addition to general project management, your tasks will also include: •Facilitating user-driven processes to determine actual needs •Developing mock-ups to establish proof-of-concept •Designing and developing prototypes •Testing and evaluating new welfare and health technologies •Writing reports and project applications Engineer with focus on user-driven innovation We welcome all applications from individuals who have an engineering, perhaps design engineering, background and who have worked with developing and testing technical solutions and assistive resources for the care and health sectors. Applications from health professionals with backgrounds that reflect the knowledge and experience called for by the position will also be welcomed. In addition to your knowledge and abilities, the other key qualification required is experience in working independently and in a goal-oriented manner within a busy and quality-focussed organisation where high standards are expected of both employees and their results. Theoretical knowledge of methodology will, however, also be prioritised highly.
