Joining our department you become an active participant in a global Heating Segment organisation, where you highly influence your own working situation in a flat hierarchy and a rewarding working environment. You will be working in our office in Nordborg and must expect 10 - 15 travel days per year. A unique opportunity to create the job of your dreams Your overall responsibility will be to ensure development and quality in the software architecture and design in our future cloud solution. It is important that you take part in the software development in all development phases, where your success will be measured on your ability to secure development of our future cloud solution, and to support our existing and future control platforms. You will be the guarantor for the fact that our software design is modular, flexible, and robust, and you deliver architecture that follows the principle methods and best practice. Your key task will be: •Design of the software architecture •Software module design •Responsible for defining the methods to ensure that the architecture provides a coherent system design •Guide the technical design process with the development team, including the creation of component models and detailed design specifications to ensure that the architecture standards are followed As this is a new position, where the right person has the possibility to influence both the technical solutions and the job itself, it will be possible to have a great impact on the future strategy and product portfolio for the area. Technical skills combined with an interpersonal interest You hold a BSc/MSc or similar in computer science/software and several years of experience in architectural software design for IT solutions, and you need to bring experience in using object oriented design and solid knowledge of database design. We expect knowledge about distributed architecture and design that provide scalability and performance. You also bring experience with •using the most common programming languages (e.g. Java, C#, C++, C.net) •frameworks (e.g. .net, Django, Flask, Spring) •web applications (e.g. Python, PHP, node.JS) and areas like PaaS, SaaS and IaaS. You must be able to work cross-organisationally and cross-culturally as you will liaison with both internal and external contacts within the department and in Danfoss globally. You are fluent in spoken and written English and able to communicate in Danish.
