Head of Operations, LEGO® Education Would you like to work with a broad spectre of assignments within global operations, and have you demonstrated the ability to deliver operational excellence? Lead the Sales and Operations Planning and deliver outstanding Customer Service In this role you are responsible for three main areas covering Customer Service, Demand Planning and Warehousing & Distribution. In close collaboration with the Senior Director of Operations and Digital Platform and the global LEGO Education Leadership Team you will set the strategy for these areas and manage the highly qualified specialists in these teams. A primary task is to continuously develop team capabilities, systems and processes to ensure the ability of Operations to deliver on the LEGO Education strategy balancing cost, service levels and quality. The department target is to align and define the global LEGO Education Supply Chain Value Proposition across channels to strengthen LEGO Education as a solutions provider. According to this your main focus will be: Setting direction for forecast and scenario planning and manage allocation and prioritizations on products and customers. Leverage expertise and build upon The LEGO Group operating model setup. Take responsibility as the owner of the Sales and Operations Planning and manage inventory together with Global Supply Chain. Optimize lead times and minimize cost and complexity in LEGO Education’s warehouse and distribution set up through collaboration and partner management of external provider. Define and implement global program for customer service excellence and best practice including collaboration and training for existing local customer service teams. Being a strong people manager of a diverse team of 6 employees, setting direction, sharing the vision and building a high performing and motivated team. In this position, you will be challenged on your ability to manoeuvre in the middle of a web, making all ends meet around Customer Service, Warehouse & Distribution and Demand Planning. You will further strengthen your stakeholder management skills, and you can look forward to implement structure for roles and responsibilities locally versus globally across LEGO Education’s global set up. The global nature of your position takes you travelling approximately 20 days per year.
