Therefore, Novo Nordisk has initiated an exciting project to investigate the possibilities to expand production in Hillerød. The project will have a high degree of complexity with lots of cross organizational and global cooperation. To succeed with this ambitious project we need people with a pioneer spirit who like to build something completely new, have a high engagement level and thrive in a constant changing environment. About the department You will be the one starting up this new area in our project in collaboration with a highly dedicated project team. You will be accountable for setting up the financial controlling structure in the project team and for leading a small team of people within the discipline of financial project controlling. The job As our Head of Finance you report directly to the Head of Business & Project Support. It is your task to establish and take full ownership of the financial planning processes, support project execution from scratch and secure the overall budget.Your primary responsibilities include budget, project controlling, IPC management and financial reporting. You will also be responsible for the accounting review (investment vs. cap cost). Part of your work includes leading the annual financial planning processes including manning, revised half year budget, time reporting and the BSC process. Moreover, you will be in charge of the procurement plan in terms of purchase and change orders from our vendors and secure a robust process to handle these effectively. It is crucial that you are able to network, collaborate and work at a high professional level, both internally and externally. You are expected to work both independently and in teams to ensure buy-in from key stakeholders. You will need strong cross organisational collaboration skills with hands-on support and to make accurate budget - and cost plans. Furthermore, our support functions within Product Supply will be your major stakeholders, and you will also act as competent sparring partner to the project management team. Qualifications You hold a Master’s degree in finance, economy, business, engineering or similar combined with a minimum of two years’ working experience with finance project controlling and/or financial systems. These qualifications enable you to act independently and ensure that expectations are met and results are delivered.Your attention to detail and clear understanding of the business and its future ensure that all tasks are handled appropriately and at the right time. Demonstrating strong communication skills, you are able to work across functions and borders at all levels of the organisation. We expect that you are fluent in English.We expect that you have good leadership skills, can motivate the team to follow you and that you enjoy developing people. We also expect that you have experience with the implementation of complex projects and the pharmaceutical industry.
