About the Department Sourcing Management is part of the IT Shared Services area under Corporate IT in Novo Nordisk A/S. Our department is a key driver of IT sourcing, contract and asset management activities on behalf of the global IT organisation in Novo Nordisk. Furthermore, Sourcing Management collaborates closely with procurement units and management teams responsible for IT projects and operation in Novo Nordisk. You will be a part of an enthusiastic group of 7 team members that sets high standards and individual targets, but achieve them as a team. The Job As a Senior Sourcing Manager for IT you will be involved in driving various sourcing projects and activities together with different groups of IT management and specialists in Novo Nordisk. The projects fall within contract management, vendor management, financial management, asset management and negotiations with vendors across several different IT categories like software, hardware operation, support and maintenance, consulting, etc. The work also involves a fair amount of establishing, implementing and following internal governance processes for managing our IT contracts, vendors and assets. Due to the diverse set of tasks and projects in the job, the ability to successfully interact with a different set of stakeholders spanning from management, to non-IT people to IT specialist is very important. The job involves a high degree of complexity and many different activities going on simultaneously. Among other things, this requires that you have the ability to structure and simplify complex matters, while at the same time having a high degree of flexibility, independence and drive in your personal profile. Qualifications You hold a Master’s degree in business administration, engineering, computer science or economics. You have at least 8 years relevant IT sourcing, software asset management or contracting experience and a track record in delivering strong results. You have strong people, reasoning, and analytical skills. You have the ability to effectively plan, prioritise, execute, and follow-up in a proactive and timely manner. You are self-motivated, result oriented, and have the ability to collaborate across functions. You are a strong communicator and sell your ideas effectively.
