We are looking for an Associate Manager to head up a quality control team in Bagsværd. About the department QC Packaging Materials consists of app. 60 employees. We are responsible for the quality control of primary and printed packaging materials to the world-wide supply in Novo Nordisk. The department is located in Bagsværd and we work closely with several internal stakeholders as well as other parts of Novo Nordisk. The department is segregated in 3 teams. You will head up the team responsible for quality control of primary packaging. The job You will lead, coach and develop 15 highly dedicated and competent operators and laboratory technicians. The team’s core task is to ensure a timely release of batches for production through quality controls with a high level of compliance e.g. in relation to procedures and standards. There is a strong focus on standardisation, right first time, plan adherence and on lowering lead time. The team has a broad range of stakeholders both internally in the area and in other parts of Novo Nordisk. As the team leader, your role is to continuously follow up on the team’s performance, manage board meetings to provide a complete overview, and coordinate your team tasks. You will develop your employees’ competencies through systematic training, and your leadership supports a LEAN culture where continuous improvement and a systematic problem solving mind set are natural parts of everyday work. You report to the department manager and will be a member of the management team. You play an active role in setting direction for the area and in contributing in relation to cross team initiatives and projects. You are willing to share and collaborate, and you take pride in supporting your colleagues in achieving joint targets. The job is a maternity cover for 12 months with the opportunity to secure a longer engagement by proving yourself. Qualifications Ideally you have 1-2 years of management experience and proven strong leadership track record. You must have the ability to inspire and motivate others, and to empower your team members to deliver excellent results. Preferably you have an education in science at minimum bachelor level, supplemented with experience from production in GxP regulated companies. You have a strong LEAN mind-set, and the ability to facilitate problem solving and to find the right root causes. Additionally, you are well organised and you approach challenges in a logical manner, and you are able to balance following standards with ensuring continuous improvement of processes and procedures.
