Setting up and maintaining Product Variant Masterdata In your new position, you will be part of our Masterdata Management team (MDM) in our Finance department within the William Demant shared service centre (DGS). We handle various tasks across WD-companies such as Oticon, Bernafon, Sennheiser Communications etc. MDM is a corporate function responsible for Masterdata Management methods, standards and Governance across WDH. This means that responsibility for Product Variant Modeling and root definition of our product data to be used in PLM-, ERP- e-Commerce and other systems is placed here. You will be colleague to our current Product Variant Modeler and in close corporation with our lead Information Architect you will be responsible for setting up and maintaining our Product Variant Masterdata, primarily in our core system ConfigIt. You will work closely with different projects and major initiatives already running in relation to our product definition data. WDH practices model driven development and we have done the major part of designing our variant modeling of our core Hearing Aid products. Now we are looking into defining modeling methods other product types and the daily operation of modeling new product variants in our ongoing business. The primary tasks will be to: Harvest and track product information in different areas, projects and systems as source to the Product Variant Modeling. Build, maintain and report on the Product Variant Models in ConfigIT. Implementing rules and relations, data structures and parameters. Maintain and improve the structure of the Product Variant Modeling. Start structural build and implementation of product types not yet set up. Participate in development in the interaction of the Product Variant Modeling setup and other core Masterdata systems like MS MDS, Enovia (our PLM system), MS Dynamic AX etc. Build, optimize and document the operational procedures around Product Variant Modeling. Since we are a global company, you might expect some travelling. You are either very experienced or recently graduated There are several ways into this position and we are open for both experienced and more recently graduated profiles for this position. The tasks and responsibilities of the position will vary depending on your qualifications. No matter what, we expect you to hold a relevant Master’s Degree as engineer or within IT, - or have documented relevant and in depth experience with Product Variant Modeling or managing product configuration systems. We expect you to have experience from – of theoretical knowledge of - Masterdata management, Logistics, PLM, Web-shop product setup, Enterprise architecture or Information Architecture as well as System Engineering. As you will manage and use information from many areas in our company, you must have a significant drive. You are an efficient networker and facilitator as well as a good administrator. You have good communications skills and are the kind of person who makes things happens while maintaining the focus on teamwork.
