About the department The department Chemical Development is part of Novo Nordisk Research & Development area located in Måløv and Bagsværd. In our department you will find more than 60 highly skilled and motivated colleagues with a “can-do” attitude, who constantly challenge themselves to create, improve, upscale and transfer robust chemical processes. The job The job is located at in Bagsværd where your main task will be day-to-day operations of a team responsible for the compliance and facility activities for the areas departments. The team consists of 11 persons, 4 academic and 7 technicians, responsible for the daily maintenance and calibration in the pilot plants. The team is responsible for compliance activities including non-conformity handling, change request and qualification of new equipment to secure the future performance of the pilot plants. You will be a part of a strong management team and your responsibility is to ensure team deliverables and support the team members to fulfill their potential. We expect you to drive planning and prioritization between activities in close collaboration with stakeholders, and we expect you to drive projects relevant for maintaining and developing productivity of the team. With your quality mindset, you set direction for the team ensuring that it is supporting the requirements from the projects and authorities. Qualifications You hold a master degree within a scientific discipline or similar. You have management experience and act as competent sparring partner to your team - coaching and empowering employees to deliver excellent results and to take responsibility for their own professional and personal development. Experience from a pharmaceutical/life science R&D or manufacturing organization will be an advantage. You lead and embrace changes and exhibit a structured and convincing approach to transitioning people and organizations from current to desired state. You are able to spur enthusiasm and energy around you, and you possess strong networking and interpersonal skills. In addition you process excellent communication skills, positive attitude and are a true team player. You have shown through your work experience that you have the ability to take on challenges even when there are obstacles along the way and that you thrive in a dynamic environment where you don’t know what the day will bring when you meet in the morning.
