About the department Clinical Supplies Supply Chain Planning (CSSCP) is a key member of R&D CMC Clinical Supplies (CS) and is vital in bringing new drugs to market. Our responsibility is to ensure that trial products are available on time and in the right quality and quantity for all clinical trials conducted globally by Novo Nordisk. We operate in the combined field of supply chain management and regulatory requirements within drug development. The job Our clinical trial activity has increased substantially and to support this development, we are looking for a person with experience within handling of trial product. The Temperature Control and Material Planning Team is responsible for ensuring inbound materials for packaging and shipment of investigational products to clinical trials and for the evaluation of temperature deviations throughout the supply chain. You will responsible for handling temperature deviations timely and in a prioritized manner, including managing and resolving operational problems and non-conformities related to team processes. You will act as expert on the temperature monitoring aspects of trial product handling process both internally in CS and by supporting affiliates and monitors in preventing future temperature deviations. This includes understanding and interpretation of temperature monitoring process and device functionalities. The job involves close contact to site monitors, CMC Quality Assurance departments, Supply Chain Planners and International Trial Managers. Your key responsibilities as Temperature Control Professional will include: handling of temperature deviations, resolving operational problems related to team processes, support and development of trial product handling processes, expert in temperature monitoring device. Qualification You hold a master’s degree, and have at least 2 years’ experience from a similar job or within relevant area. We expect you to have experience with LEAN and knowledge of GMP and GCP. Experience with regulatory requirements in global (cold chain) distribution management, and collaboration and communication in an international environment is an advantage. On a personal level you have a strong quality mind-set, work independently, show initiative and take responsibility. You are thorough, structured and work systematically with your tasks and have a natural ability to prioritize between tasks.
