We are seeking a Research Scientist with a passion for enzymes and a desire to explore their use in household detergents.Detergent Research Center is a functional area in R&D responsible for developing enzymes for tomorrow’s detergents. This includes characterization of enzymes and washing systems, down scaling of wash assays and general evaluation of new enzymes - all with a global perspective and in close interaction with our customers and other parts of the organization.Here you’ll be part of a dynamic team of 20 scientists and laboratory technicians in Bagsvaerd, Denmark.You will work in an R&D application department where most projects are global, cross-functional and in collaboration with our customers and your role will be to use your scientific background to drive and support research into enzyme-based solutions for the detergent industry.From designing and managing experiments to supervising laboratory technicians, you’re able to see the details in the bigger picture and turn good ideas into great commercial solutions. In this position you need to: • Have a Master or PhD in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or similar technical degree • Preferably have experience within enzyme technology/application and enzyme/substrate assay • Have a strong drive and the ability to work independently • Enjoy working in a team with dedicated team members and have a good sense of humor • Be outgoing with strong communication skills • Be fluent in oral and written English and enjoy being at the forefront of product development Are you the next Zymer in our team?
