Use your programming skills and become a part of a front office development team, creating digital solutions for Nordea Markets customers. Nordea Markets offers its customers a web based platform with research and financial information called Nordea e-Markets. The e-Data team within e-Markets secures the right universe and right quality of all financial information used in our platform. e-Data seeks a student with strong IT skills to help de-velop and modernise the architecture, programs and tools used to achieve our goals. In this job, you will have an opportunity to work in a front office development team, close to Sales and Trading and get a feeling of what it is like to work in the Markets environment. The position we offer Our goal is to upgrade components with the goals of efficiency and simplicity, benefitting from modern technologies and innovations. The candidate will be expected to help design and im-plement the new components and will be a part of the entire development process. The complexity and number of tasks will be added as qualifications allow. The e-Markets organisation is located directly on the trading floor in a hectic but also very dynamic atmosphere. Every project is done in close cooperation with our colleagues in Trading and Sales in order to understand customer needs and requirements so that our end-products and systems always reflect business needs. The qualifications you need You must have strong IT skills and have an interest in computer programming. Our primary language is C#, but we also have programs running in, PL/SQL and Ex-cel/VBA. You must also be a strong problem solver. You are studying for a master’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, finance or economics and have shown excellent results. You need to have good academic abilities and we expect that you have one to two years left of your studies. Furthermore you are: •Keen on working in a fun, dynamic, fast-paced environment with committed colleagues •Dedicated and responsible •Eager to solve new and challenging tasks •Comfortable with verbal communication in a demanding environment Normal weekly working time will be 20 hours.
