We Offer An exciting job opportunity in our Corporate headquarters in Copenhagen with global exposure to our worldwide activities. The position will require some traveling to our overseas business units and commercial counterparts. You will be Team Lead and an integrated member of a small, dedicated team responsible for the our crude trading activities within Maersk Oil. The position provides a unique opportunity to help shape the future trading activities within the company making sure that we maximize the value of our own assets as well as grow our trading business. Key Responsibilities The candidate will be part of the Global Energy Trading management team, responsible for running the crude oil team. The crude oil team looks after selling Maersk Oil crude oil assets worldwide, as well as trading third party barrels. Conduct market analysis to support trading decisions and creating a market view. The Team Lead will be a key enabler in building and framing a strong risk governance framework for crude to ensure a compliant framework that caters for trading the existing assted and future growth. The Team Lead will be expected to be able to interact and negotiate commercial agreements with counterparties and external stakeholders to secure Maersk Oil´s interests and always optimizing value through an accepted risk profile. Who we are looking for A Senior Crude Trader or Crude Trading Manager with 10-15 years’ experience within oil trading from an energy trading company. Experience with both physical crude oil trading, refining and relevant derivatives instruments. An ability to do market analysis and form a trading view. Able to lead others and challenge and train team members to perform to their best abilities. An extrovert, driven personality that thrives on creating new business opportunities.
