New role with focus on Development, Management & Operation We are looking for a Sr. Manager for the QC Materials group in Hillerød who can develop and implement new processes as well as manage a team of eight highly skilled QC professionals. This is a newly created position. Reporting to the QC Director for Hillerød site you will be part of the QC management team and collaborate closely with existing counterparts in the United States and Europe as part of a department of 70+ QC professionals. The responsibilities for the QC Materials group are to sample and control materials used for label and packaging of Finished Goods in Hillerød. This includes visual inspection and functionality testing of devices. You will be overall responsible for the operation, optimization and GMP compliance within QC Materials. This is an excellent opportunity for someone truly interested in making a difference. You will get to reorganize the group, streamline the material handling and to optimize activities in order to enhance compliance and minimize lead time. Responsibilities: • Development and implementation of new processes for improved handling of QC Materials • Management and development of staff including individual performance management. • Accountable for GMP compliance and quality control of all materials used for assembly and packaging of commercial finished goods. • Supervision of quality control handling of materials routing through the international QC department. • Accountable for the overall performance of the QC Materials group and part of QC Management team JIX1 *LI-DEN2 Location Denmark-Hillerod Job Category Quality Requisition Number 25046BR Qualifications You have a university degree in chemistry, biochemistry or microbiology, complimented with 10 years’ experience from the pharmaceutical industry, including operation of GMP-QC laboratories and quality management of Materials. You have gained robust leadership experience on both strategic and operational level as well as hands-on experience with change management. • Demonstrated leadership abilities with respect to operations and personnel management. • Advanced oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate with management, peers and subordinates effectively. • Advanced organizational skills; ability to multi-task and coordinate multiple activities in parallel • Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. • Thorough knowledge of FDA/EMEA regulations and compliance. • Experience with regulatory audits.
