A 1-year postdoctoral position is available in X-ray imaging at the Department of Physics (DTU Physics). The candidate will work at the Imaging industry portal. The portal was inaugurated in 2014 with the aim to foster partnerships with industry in projects where X-ray or neutron tomography can provide useful information about the internal structure of a material. During 2014 the Imaging industry portal completed 13 test projects together with industry partners and the goal for 2015 is to double the number of business partnerships. The core team in the imaging industry portal comprises 6-9 people. The group is involved in strategic research, eg. in energy technologies, instrumentation and software developments relating to new types of X-ray sources as well as the support of commercial projects.
