The team The Global IT team delivers core infrastructure, user workplaces, and business applications across all business units and plays a significant role in the achievement of William Demant ambitious business goals. You will be part of our Enterprise Architecture & Planning Team, which is responsible for Enterprise Architecture and Project Management. You will be responsible for the information and data architecture, as well as ensuring the consistency of the information architecture throughout the organization. You will work in close cooperation with the Enterprise Architect, the Master Data Team and the architects/developers who are implementing specific solutions. The position is in DGS, which is a global unit in William Demant that handles various tasks within areas such as IT, Quality, Finance, HR, and Operations. Your mission You will be responsible for Information Architecture with primary tasks to: •Develop, document and maintain the information architecture •Understand the information need and lifecycle across processes and business functions •Map and document information objects and flows •Realize the information architecture, by participating in and contributing to concrete projects •Ensure optimal information flows throughout the enterprise Since we are a global company, you can expect some travelling, approximately 10 days per year. Your profile You hold a relevant Master Degree and have at least 5 years’ experience with IT architecture. You have a strong technical background, with a focus on the information and data aspects of IT. You can design information and data architectures, and realize these designs in concrete projects. You are experienced in SOA, information services and how to realize information flows spanning multiple systems and business functions. You have used different information and integration patterns on concrete projects. You have strong business focus and process understanding, and know how to analyze business needs and transform them into technical architectures and solutions and see yourself as being a bridge between business and IT. You are experienced in working close with the business and able to make them understand the technical possibilities as well as understanding their needs, creating a synergy between IT architecture and business strategy.
