Defining, implementing and maintaining tools In your new job you will be part of our R&D organization and refer to the Head of Embedded Software. Your main contacts are people involved in writing code and tests, directly or indirectly, on the hearing aid embedded software platform. These include testers, developers, project- and line managers. Your main responsibility consists of the following: Define, implement and maintain the tools that ensure our developers/testers are able to make and run tests efficiently in a Continuous Integration and release deployment. Automation and maintenance of build and test flows Monitor results and the quality of releases Cooperation with the Platform Test- and Release Manager in the final stages of tests and releases Your professional background and personal competencies We expect you to have a degree in computer science, e.g. “Datamatiker”, Software Engineering or equivalent. Furthermore we are looking for the following competencies: Experience with different software test tools, including tools for automation and continuous integration Setting up and writing software test tools Programming skills, Java, C# and/or C++. Familiarity with both the Windows and Linux platforms (including BASH) Scripting languages, esp. Python, PERL, BASH Matlab – from a tools perspective Experience within software release flows and final testing against requirements Furthermore, general knowledge of signal processing is an advantage. You would characterize yourself as someone who work well within teams and thrive in a supportive role. You possess good communicative skills, both orally and in writing.
