External Posting Title Snr Automation Engineer Job Description As Sr. Automation Engineer at Biogen’s Hillerød facility you will be responsible for supporting the commercial manufacturing and for maintaining the validated state of the site’s manufacturing control systems. Duties You will design, specify, control cost and schedule all automation and control systems by performing the duties listed below: • Providing automation support to on-going manufacturing operations. • Manage and execute automation changes according to Good Automation Practices Implementing control system changes as required by process improvements for current products or process changes required for future products. • Working across multiple Biogen sites to implement best practices for all aspects of change control, system administration and software development. • Working with the Project department to implement new capital projects. • Working with Quality and Validation to ensure control system compliance to all applicable EU and International regulations. Location Hillerod, Denmark Job Category Operations, Technology & Innovation (PO&T) Requisition Number 26839BR Qualifications • 6 - 10 years’ experience working as engineer with automation and/or control systems • Pharma or biotech experience highly desirable • Previous experience in a GMP environment • Experience working with basic unit operations like CIP and SIP as well as pharma processes • Excellent knowledge of industry standard DCS systems (preferable Emerson’s Delta V system) and/or industry standard MES systems (preferable Emerson’s Syncade system) • Knowledge of batch process and the implementation of the industry standards (ISA S-88/95) • Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, network architecture diagrams. Education • Minimum a Bachelor’s Degree within Engineer or similar.
