At FLSmidth Airtech we design and supply Air Pollution Control Equipment to the cement and minerals industries worldwide. You will join the Operations department consisting of 10 project managers handling projects around the world. Detailed Description Portfolio and team management As Project Manager, you are responsible for carrying out projects in accordance with the contractual agreements between FLSmidth and our clients. You report directly to the General Manager of Operations and you lead a dedicated project team, consisting of skilled engineers. You focus on: · Participating and contributing to contract negotiations · Executing projects on time, on spec, on cost and regularly reporting on status · Handling all aspects of our client relations in relation to our contractual agreements · Handling claims and risk management You will handle a project portfolio of DKK 200+ million, and we expect you to take responsibility for large turnkey projects, from contract negotiations to the final take over of the plant. Thus, we look to you to navigate in a setting of many different stakeholders and agendas. Job Requirements Experienced negotiator with cultural flair You have a degree in Engineering or similar and solid experience with contract negotiations. You can present an international track record and have experience as a Project Manager from similar industries. Furthermore, you have excellent English skills, both written and verbal, and any other languages are a plus. Your excellent cultural awareness comes into play when you are working with clients and colleagues on the global scene. Employing your sound communication skills, you ensure good cooperation, build strong and long-lasting relations and motivate teams. Your structured approach and ability to work independently lends you the skills to handle the deadlines and pressure of an ever-changing work environment. You must expect around 60 travel days per year.
