Alfa Laval Copenhagen A/S, Engineering & Supply in Søborg is looking for a Senior Process Engineer for Protein projects Engineering & Supply handles projects, designs and delivers components, process modules and complete systems within the Alfa Laval group. We are experiencing an increasing demand for our solutions for the protein industry. For this purpose we are looking for a committed and proactive Process Engineer. Engineering & Supply (E&S) is a truly global support organization committed to deliver professional engineering and project management within a wide range of applications and industries. We have a global footprint, with employees in Denmark, Sweden, Germany, US, China, India, Brazil, Mexico, Italy, among other sites. As our future Process Engineer in the E&S Protein department, you are experienced within design of large process plants and used to work on projects having tight deadlines. Key tasks: * Together with the project team generate mass and energy balance, main equipment list, specification of equipment, P&ID?s & functional descriptions for appointed projects * In cooperation with the project manager and lead engineers organize and execute the engineering activities for appointed projects * Participate in external meetings with customers to discuss/clarify process issues and engineering activities * Drive improvement of technical solutions and secure best technology and learning is implemented into our engineering work and process design to the benefit of our customers * Participate in commissioning & performance tests and assist in troubleshooting * Provide technical support to the Market Unit Protein sales organization and customers * 20 ? 30 travel days per year Ideal candidate: * Process, Mechanical or Chemical engineering degree and documented experience with project work * Several years experience with process design (preferable from food, Biotech or Starch industry) * Self-driven, systematic, open-minded person who can convert process requirements into practical workable solutions * A strong team player, who involves others and shares knowledge * Internationally oriented person with good cross-cultural understanding * English skills at negotiation level (written & verbal) We offer: * A challenging and motivating job for an experienced process engineer * A position in a strong company that offers an opportunity to build up strong specialisation in various advanced process systems * Opportunity for further development in areas of Process Engineering and Project Management * Cooperation with proactive and result-oriented project teams * Motivated and committed colleagues working in a positive and informal atmosphere * A salary that matches your qualifications, flex time, and an attractive pension and health care scheme Further information For more information you are welcome to contact Group Leader Kent Larsen Enghøj at Tel +45 2777 8740.
