Can you apply your scrum master experience to push our embedded SW development to the next level of professionalism? Then we have an exciting opening for you in our Embedded SW Platform group. The job In your new position, you will be part of the Embedded Software Platform Group consisting of eight very skillful and dedicated SW developers. The team is responsible for designing and implementing the embedded SW platform used in all of Oticons hearing solutions. Besides the daily dialogue with your SW colleagues, you can look forward to interfacing with the rest of the Oticon organization, especially the IC development group. Your main area of responsibility will be the development our embedded SW platform to support the chipset and fulfill the requirements of the other parts of our development organization. This means that you will be responsible for identifying requirements, developing, testing, releasing, and documenting according to requirements and plans. The other important part of your role will be to take the role of scrum master. You will be expected to create a significant improvement to our scrum process and be able to provide a data based pushback to product owner and developers. Your main tasks will include: Design, implementation and test of embedded software, including ?Wake-up validation of IC prototypes ?Support of IC development Driving and improving the teams scrum process as scrum master Experience with scrum and embedded systems development We expect you to hold a relevant degree in Electronics or Computer Engineering and have several years’ experience with development of embedded systems. Furthermore, you have several years’ documented work experience as scrum master, ideally supplemented by relevant training. We are looking for the following competencies and experience: Embedded software development, in particular C Agile software development as scrum master HW wakeup and debugging Java Should you have skills in the simultaneous development of HW and embedded SW, it is an advantage. Moreover, experience with token based multicore systems and resource constrained systems would be advantageous.
