Head the approval and quality of LEGO® Elements Leading an Approval & Quality team of 13 colleagues in Denmark and 3 in Mexico, you will ultimately be responsible for the approval of new LEGO Elements and thereby set the global standard for Element quality level. This also includes providing support on quality issues in operation and ensuring training of Quality Inspectors at global production sites. In general, as Manager of this area, which approves approximately 800 elements a year and has the last say on adjustments to specifications, you: Will be responsible for employee development, setting frames and direction, following up and reporting on KPI, as well as being an active player in the overall Leadership Team Will be globally responsible for approval of LEGO Elements, which includes making decisions on exemptions, and aligning and determining quality on LEGO Elements Continuously support the globalisation of the competencies and build a global approval team for the future Ensure we stay innovative by following technology development and market standards for quality approval, as well as thinking innovation in relation to process optimisation Build a solid network and connections to stakeholders to search and set up possibilities for sparring with relevant external partners, universities and other influencers Join a connected community Being involved in intensive collaboration and cross-organisational tasks across borders, you will have great opportunity to apply your ability to think both logically and creatively, enhance your understanding of globalisation, and develop even deeper expertise within your field and in an international perspective.
