Are you passionate about toys? Would you like to explore the endless world of children's imagination and creativity within LEGO® play worlds? Turn ideas into reality We are looking for talented concept designers and illustrators to sketch, create and bring to life new play experiences and concepts. As a LEGO® concept designer you will create the world's best building and play experiences for boys and girls through brands like LEGO Ninjago, LEGO Chima and LEGO Friends. You will be part of a dedicated and creative team, where you: Work with the whole design process, ranging from research and co-creation over ideation and sketching of concepts to visualising characters and worlds to bring them to life in TV series and movies. Create new stories, themes and concepts and maturing them into new play experiences and products Collaborate closely with a cross functional team in a creative, international and open-minded environment Passionate about the impact of play In a culture that is famous for collaboration and creativity, you will work closely in teams to brainstorm, create and design characters and worlds that delight and inspire children globally. You will join a large international design team in Billund counting approximately 200 designers from around the world, who are all passionate about the impact of play. You just know how to create fun and playful toys To be a successful designer at LEGO® you enjoy working in a team, you want to learn, and you know how to create playful concepts. In addition, you: Have a formal education in concept design, toy design or illustration Have work experience as a Concept Designer, Product or Toy Designer, alternatively internship experience Are fluent in spoken and written English Are passionate about design and toys, have a high personal drive and enjoy taking initiative Have an innovative mind, which - combined with the playful approach of your inner child - enables you to create ideas and concepts for the world’s most critical audience Have an aesthetic talent, a firm grasp of the design process and strong skills in sketching and key creative software programs e.g. Adobe suite, Rhino etc. Join the global family of LEGO® In the LEGO® Group, we succeed together, and you will be part of a global family where you will collaborate across functions.
