Senior Project Manager for digital-physical product development

Can you lead global projects all the way from idea to play? Bring new products to market As our new senior project manager, you will drive projects from our portfolio within the Build & Code product category, which includes technologically and digitally integrated products like LEGO® Mindstorms. Your project team typically consists of 20-40 on-site and off-site participants from different functional and cultural backgrounds. From our HQ in Billund, Denmark, you work in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, taking you travelling up to 20 days per year. Taking a holistic perspective, your job is to establish the compromises needed to bridge innovative idea creation with physical and digital value chain optimisation. As you do so, you will: Drive the strategic development of your business in close collaboration with your core team, consisting of a design manager and a marketing manager, hereunder facilitating front-end innovation and securing platform integration Ensure that the product experiences we bring to market balance consumers´ and customers´ wishes and live up to our high standards for quality, price value and profitability, delivering on both physical and digital requirements Lead and engage individual team members in a diverse team through an interest in each person’s motivational drivers, including being responsible for kick-off meetings, project meetings and on-boarding new project participants Systematic creativity You will be part of a family-owned business that offers a supportive, collaborative network and team structure. Outstanding collaboration and stakeholder management skills To be a success, you build trust with various stakeholders, leading projects across time zones, cultures and competencies. Feeling comfortable not being the subject matter specialist, you put all your efforts into practicing great leadership and applying your end-to-end understanding of the full value chain. In addition to having a creative mind and change management skills, you: Hold a master´s degree in a commercial, digital or technical field combined with at least 5 years of project management experience Have a solid digital understanding and experience with app development Bring a full end-to-end understanding of the value chain – from both a digital and physical perspective Are comfortable handling complex trade-offs and exhibit infectious energy as you act as a lighthouse for your team members, knowing when to let others on stage and when to step into the limelight yourself Speak and write English effortlessly Bringing it to life "This is a fantastic job right at the heart of the LEGO organisation, where you get an understanding of what inspires children’s creativity and imagination.
