About the department Customer Events & PR is a team within Global Marketing, responsible for planning and executing global customer engagement activities targeted Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) - such as international congresses, scientific meetings as well as our media events. With a changing relationship management environment in pharma, we are looking for a colleague who can join us through these changes and challenges, and still secure high impact interactions with the HCPs. The position is based in Copenhagen (Søborg), Denmark, reporting to the Global Marketing Director for Customer Events & PR. The job As part of the team, your main task will be to lead this new strategic focus - investigate possible expansion of our communication/digital activities across congresses, explore digital platforms and do this in close collaboration with other functions in Novo Nordisk (Corporate Communication, Brand Teams and Medical Affairs). You will also be working on building and expanding from our current strategic thinking around extension and expansion around our congresses. You are an experienced marketer and service provider to our brand teams and liaise effectively with many stakeholders both inside and outside Novo Nordisk. You will work under tight deadlines and have to balance many different needs and opinions. You will also be expected to be on location for execution of an event, representing Novo Nordisk interacting with customers as well as competitors. Qualifications You hold a Master Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related fields and have 5-10 years professional working experience to match the job requirements. We are looking for an outstanding marketer who has documented experience in driving large projects and the ability to drive effective (internal & external) communication. Furthermore it is important that you can demonstrate experience and insights into digital marketing. We expect that you are capable and committed to quickly become an integrated team member by understanding and navigating in complex working processes. You are expected to be proactive and forward planning and to have the ability to challenge the current state.
