About the department Corporate Occupational Health and Safety (COHS) is a corporate staff function and a part of Corporate People & Organisation located in Bagsværd. COHS is Novo Nordisk's centre of excellence within global occupational health and safety and has 28 dedicated colleagues within mental and physical well-being, ergonomics and technical working environment. Our role is to inspire and support the OHS work and employee well-being throughout the global organisation, enabling line of business to realise Novo Nordisk’s OHS ambitions by providing easy-to-use guidance, tools and data. The position We offer a challenging position as OHS Consultant with the following main responsibilities; Provide consultancy to the global organisation within a broad range of health and safety issues e.g. accident prevention, ergonomics and open office working environment etc. Your role is to provide clear and professional advice and guidance to primarily management and OHS representatives, based on your expertise and professional knowledge, regulatory requirements, as well as good practice and Novo Nordisk' values. Support the corporate strategy on health and safety in Novo Nordisk. This involves preparing solid data analyses and trend reports on various health and safety topics. Based on these analyses and intensive stakeholder management, you will bring forward concrete ideas for developing and implementing easy-to-use guidelines, standards and tools for the organisation and you will support the sharing of better health and safety practices across the global organisation. Last but not least, you will participate in and drive both small and large health and safety projects and you will be part of the planning and execution of OHS training. Qualifications You hold a B.Sc. or a M.Sc. with strong focus on workplace safety. You have at least 3-5 years of experience within OHS preferably from an international company with production facilities. You have strong analytical skills and the ability to conceptualise and implement cross organisational initiatives in a global company. At the same time you strive to support local management ability to keep the business running efficiently. You are able to document your business accomplishments via management references. You have excellent communication skills and the capability to develop hands-on tools for the OHS organisation. As a person you are result-oriented, structured, proactive and have a can do attitude towards your assignments. Furthermore you have a high level of drive, initiative, empathy, persistence and work well in a dynamic environment. English is our corporate language, and hence it is a prerequisite that you speak and write English fluently. You work comfortably in MS Office (experienced in Excel and PowerPoint). It is also important that you approach tasks and colleagues with a positive attitude, energy and good humour.
