About the department Marketing and Medical Affairs sub-group (MMA Legal) is part of the Pharma Law team located at Novo Nordisk’s headquarters in Bagsværd, Denmark. Pharma Law team consists of 10 attorneys. The department is a part of Novo Nordisk’s Global Legal organisation which employs more than 120 lawyers at more than 25 locations throughout the world. The 4 MMA Legal lawyers provide legal advice within a broad range of activities including medical, marketing and sales and provide legal and compliance support to all Novo Nordisk global brands. The job We are able to offer you a challenging position as Corporate Counsel in a high-performing, energetic team, servicing a dynamic and expanding area in our company. The work will be performed from Bagsværd and Søborg, both locations in Denmark. The primary responsibilities of the Corporate Counsel will be to provide legal and compliance support to a number of Novo Nordisk’s global brands and work closely with brand teams in the Global Marketing organisation. As such, focus will be on review of promotional material, legal support regarding the company’s participation in international medical congresses, developing guidance and providing legal training, as well as supporting on contracts and much more. In handling the specific tasks, you will interact with various stakeholders within Novo Nordisk, as well as external counsels and partners. You will work closely together with and have independent responsibility for advising specific teams in Novo Nordisk with a large degree of empowerment. In addition you will be part of a number of projects run by the MMA Legal team. As part of the Global Legal organisation, you would also be involved in cross-functional Global Legal projects and, in addition, various opportunities, both in Denmark and abroad, offer potential for further personal development. Qualifications You have a Master’s degree in law combined with 2-5 years of working experience from a law firm or a private company or public authority; previous experience with the healthcare or life science industry and/or pharmaceutical advertising is a plus - but not a requirement. You are probably admitted to the bar in Denmark or abroad. You have great communication skills in English (verbal and written), are organized and detail-oriented and take a structured approach to your work. You thrive by working within a diverse, international environment, are able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and interact constructively with multiple internal and external stakeholders. You have good familiarity with IT systems. In addition, you are reliable, proactive, engaged, a team player and have a good sense of humour.
