Join a team of 16 motivated colleagues In FLSmidth’s Customer Service unit. You will enter a department where you and your colleagues function as our customers’ daily business partner to provide the right spare parts and best services. Detailed Description You make the customers happy Your overall task is to coordinate the proposal work and order execution together with our Sales Support in India, Technical Departments as well as procurement and shipping functions. Furthermore you will as the Operations Manager drive operational excellence within our sales teams by taking the lead on our bi-weekly performance boards and spending time coordinating and driving improvement initiatives by applying LEAN & SixSigma principles. To ensure our customers’ satisfaction, you will be in daily contact with the customers, just as you liaise with Area Sales Managers and Technical advisors. Specifically, you will: · Build good relations to customers and colleagues overseas · Translate customer requirements into proposals and orders · Drive export control · Communicate, handle and organise parts and service cases within the organisation · Have a commercial mindset and be service oriented · Take the lead in driving cross functional improvement projects · Identify operational issues by thorough root cause analysis and conducting counter measures The work location is at our headquarters in Copenhagen. Job Requirements Commercial mindset and solid technical know-how You are a Global Business Engineer or have a comparable background. Your previous career has provided you with experience within the cross field of technical sales and customer relations. As such, you are used to foresee and solve potential problems. You are proactive and have a structured approach to your tasks, enabling you to handle several cases at a time. Colleagues know you as a person with a positive attitude, who is able to deliver in time although the pace is high. Moreover, you have a cross-cultural understanding and can communicate with people of different nationalities and professional backgrounds.
