Application due: 8/30/2015 TORM is presently looking for a dynamic and versatile Business Controller who will act as a business partner to TORM’s operations. The right candidate will enjoy a role with opportunity for vast cross functional involvement and get insight in the whole value chain of TORM. The Job The Financial Planning team is responsible for management reporting and forecasting for TORM across Denmark, USA, Singapore, India and the Philippines. The team work to provide high quality reporting and financial sparring to TORM’s Board of Directors and Senior Management in order to secure ongoing focus on the financial effects of the commercial decisions. The new employee will primarily work within controlling and forecasting of the top-line and the administrative setup. As Business Controller, you will be part of a larger team that among others span across Financial Planning, Corporate Finance, Investor Relations, Business Intelligence, Strategy and Corporate Support. You will formally report to the Head of Investor Relation & Corporate Support and be located in TORM's head office in Hellerup. Your responsibilities include: • Financial and KPI monthly reporting • Cost analysis • Financial ad hoc support to management • Controlling and validation of reporting and performance • Driving the forecasting processes •Project participation and development activities Profile We are looking for an ambitious person with 3 – 5 years works experience. You have a relevant theoretical background, such as M.Sc. in business administration (Cand.merc.) or in economics (Cand.polit./oecon.), and your ability to present analyses in a short and precise manner and solutions to complex problems reflects your strong analytical and communication skills. Furthermore: • You have strong focus on quality, delivering results and meeting customer expectations. • Your are fluent in both spoken and written English • You are a strong user of Microsoft Office, especially Excel • Experience with Hyperion Planning is an advantage, but not a requirement We Offer We offer a contract on local Danish terms, a competitive salary and an attractive benefits package including bonus, pension and health insurance.
