Develop and implement an application strategy As our new Application Manager, you will, together with the Sr. Application and Partnerships Manager, be responsible for the over-all application strategy for Jabra as a means to add value to the mobile product portfolio, build brand recognition and attract new users. Key responsibilities include: • Analysing the app market to identify relevant apps and trends • Define new apps and apps features, based on market and end user insight • Managing existing, identify and acquire new app partners • Managing agreements with existing partners and implement co-marketing programs • Drive the apps development together with the Jabra R&D, project team and partners • Be a key part of internal and external sell-in of app’s and partnerships You are able to visualize and clarify the opportunities and coordinate all initiatives related to apps across functions and regions. This takes you travelling up to 50 days per year. You will be reporting to the existing Sr. Application and Partnership manager together with whom you will be a champion for apps internally and externally. Both of you will be members of the Global Product Management team. Apart from your own team, you will work closely with various internal functions such as Product Marketing, Marketing, Sales, R&D as well as external application partners, key customers and application forums, etc. Well-educated and experienced mobile gadget geek You have a BA or a Master’s degree - most likely in engineering or from a Business School. You have relevant experience related to the field of mobile applications and you have a track record of co-marketing and developing partnership programs. If you have developed your own APP or worked with software development, it is a clear advantage. You have experience in Product Management and a track record of good project management skills in an international company, preferably within the field of consumer electronics or FMCG. Fluent English and strong presentation skills are a prerequisite in this position. Your personal profile: You enjoy a diverse workday with strategic as well as operational tasks.
