Copenhagen / Local / Other / Ref.: MO-079568 This critical role will manage discipline performance and systems data analysis, and will also coordinate communications and reporting within the global wells community and other stakeholders within Maersk Oil. We Offer The candidate will have direct exposure to the drilling, completions and well services components of the business and will help in shaping and steering its drive for continuous improvement and performance. Depending on the background and interests of the candidate this analyst role could potentially evolve into a number of development avenues within the company including but not limited to performance analysis and review teams in other functions, strategy, project planning or information systems management. Key Responsibilities The Data Management and Communications Analyst main responsibilities are: Discipline data management and analysis • Collect, review and issue analysis of wells discipline relevant data sets including performance. • Coordinate performance review reports, documentation and issue of recommendations. Communications • Plan and execute all discipline communication objectives • Coordinate key announcements and newsletters across the wells community • Build, optimize and maintain the discipline SharePoint site. The primary interfaces for this position will be all business units Wells departments, the global communications office, wells discipline chiefs and directors and the head of Corporate Wells. Further the role will have full autonomy to decide on: • Scope and detail of selected relevant data sets for analysis • Optimize data gathering processes to maximize automation • Overall communication strategy and approach for the multiple initiatives going on at any given time Who we are looking for We are looking for candidates with 0 – 4 years of experience and with a technical degree (computer science, physics, mathematics etc). Any experience in communications activities would be an advantage but not strictly necessary. The candidate should: • Have attention to detail and be comfortable with large and varied data sets and have a quick ability to learn and use a diverse array of technical applications, extract data and perform analysis of the same. • Have good communication skills including written and spoken English. A flair to write articles would also be advantageous. • Be a self starter and demonstrate a high level of energy and resilience to overcome barriers to change, and coordinate work across multiple teams located in different countries. • Be able to work outside his/her comfort zone with projects of a very diverse nature. *LI-SG1 Last application date: 26 July 2015.
