Junior IT Security Engineer, CIT Tech Hosting Solutions (temporary position)

In this temporary 1-year position, you get to develop your IT talent and understanding of cyber security components in a hosting department with worldwide responsibilities. You join a major company and get to work with the newest cyber security Technologies. Ensure a secure IT infrastructure In this position, you design resilient and secure IT solutions. You step into a team that is responsible for operating and developing the LEGO® IT Hosting platform, focusing on availability 24/7/365, security and end user experiences for a global workforce. You work across functional areas, but focus primarily on ensuring and supporting a secure IT infrastructure that is setup and operated in accordance with the defined architecture and infrastructure principles. More specifically, you: Handle the day-to-day operation of our security solutions (IDS and IPS) Do log management, monitor our solutions and look for gaps in our cyber security Make risk assessments, audits and minimise potential regulatory compliance risks and security threats Reach your potential You enter a family-owned business that offers a supportive, collaborative network, where you get the opportunity to develop deep expertise in a hosting department, which is part of our IT department with 400+ employees. You join a team of specialists, who will encourage you to share your ideas and help you make the most of your talent, as you influence our IT security solutions. Broad IT competences and a knack for cyber security Your curiosity, analytical skills and problem solving talent will be put to the test in this role, as you engage with other functional IT areas and make an impact on our security solutions. You split your time between offering support and working on projects, so you need to be able to prioritise, and we imagine that you: Are an IT generalist with an IT degree, a broad interest in new IT technologies and network knowledge corresponding to a Cisco CCNA or similar You probably have some experience with VMware, SIEM and IDS/IPS and maybe with switching, routing and TCP/IP stack as well as Linux and Windows OS and WAN optimization Speak and write English - and some Danish proficiency is a plus Join the global LEGO® Family In the LEGO Group, we succeed together, and you will be part of a global family, where you can use your creativity and enjoy a fun working environment across the LEGO Community.
