We are looking for a SCADA Solutions Engineer to support on new wind projects and daily operation of the Wind power data center, to secure that Vattenfall Wind Power gain competitive advantages in operation of existing wind turbines, project development, implementation and operation of future wind farms. As one of the key functions in Vattenfall’s wind business the Competence Area SCADA Solutions is in general responsible for supporting Wind projects, operational sites and other business units in managing SCADA data (and other sources) to provide software tools and services for dashboarding, reporting and steering of wind farms as well as power trading. Your responsibilities as SCADA Solutions Engineer will be the implementation and daily operation of software solutions, interfaces and data exchanges as well as the central OSIsoft PI system landscape. Your qualifications as SCADA Solutions Engineer: Technical background: • Master of Science in Information Technology or Electronic Engineer or equivalent or documented similar long-time experiences. • Knowledge about SQL/relational database, real time database systems. • Server Operating systems (Unix, Microsoft) • OPC, IEC61400-25, IEC60870-6, IEC 60870-5 (101, 104) communication protocoles. • Programming experience (e.g. C#, Python) • Experience working with time series data, sensor data, and handling noisy/erroneous signals, data delays and missing data. • Documented experience with OSIsoft PI, AF and configuration of interfaces. Business experiences and personal capabilities: • 5-7 years of experience in the Wind industry • Good knowledge of operational processes • You have worked in international, multicultural organizations • Project management background / certification • A true team player and possess strategic skills • Have a strong drive, business acumen and performance orientation • You are comfortable working in a team with focus on development.
