You will have the pleasure of leading the entire Residential Heating R&D Organization - a team of highly qualified, motivated and competent people, to help identify and deliver on our winning strategies.

Danfoss Heating Segment (DHS) is a leading supplier in advanced heating components and systems delivering comfort and energy efficiency in residential and commercial buildings as well as enhanced heating performance. Our DNA builds on courage, entrepreneurialism and innovation since 1933.  We are comitted to new inventions through innovative projects and as a result we are proud to be the People’s Choice winners of the Danish Design Award and Red Dot Award.

The role will cover new product development and product variants for smaller and larger projects whilst actively developing and improving our products with the speed and agility our customers are looking for.

Divisional President, Residential Heating, Danfoss Heating
 
Areas of Responsibilities

• Overall responsible for our research and development strategy globally
• Use knowledge, technology and digitalization to drive the development of products of our heating solutions
• Proactively support cost down, quality improvement and productivity improvements in our factories across the globe
• Lead a team of leaders where motivation, engagement and fun are key words
• Develop the team of engineering champions to maintain our position as an innovative company, balancing resources and projects
• Engage and optimize on collaborations with our suppliers, consultants, partners and academia
• Front the continuous improvement of agile processes and tools to improve speed and capacity in our innovation
• Take an active participation in the Residential leadership team to shape and influence our overall strategy and direction

Minimum requirements to educational background

• Engineering background (Ideally an Engineering Bachelor, master’s Degree or similar)
• Ideally supplemented by a degree in finance or economy

Requirements to working experience

• Experience from industrial manufacturing, consumer electronics or automotive industry would be preferred
• Track record in global R&D and innovation strategy 
• Experience in driving strong performance in a global matrix environment
• Open communication style coupled with strong people leadership skills/experience
• Proven track record in securing profitable growth from new product development, new services and business models
• Experience in driving change and change management
• Strong technology and commercial understanding
• Project management excellence
• Fluent in English
