Would you like to take up the challenge of developing and supporting offshore logistics within operation and maintenance of the world’s largest portfolio of wind farms? Join us and become Maritime Project Manager in our department O&M Offshore Logistics, helping us develop logistics to support our ambitious strategy for further international growth. O&M Offshore Logistics is responsible for delivering and supporting safe and efficient offshore logistics within our Operation & Maintenance business area. The department consists of experienced project managers and specialists within maritime operations, helicopter operations, performance optimisation and logistics-related infrastructure design. The department is part of Wind Power, which has 1400 employees and is one of five business units in DONG Energy. For more than 20 years, Wind Power has been working actively in the offshore wind industry, and as a result of this, we now have unique knowledge within this field. We use our know-how in all phases of our offshore wind turbine projects - from the early development phase, through the constructing phase to operation and maintenance. Safety is a focus area in everything we do. We have a strong market position, and we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. You may choose freely to be based either at our office in Gentofte near Copenhagen or in Skærbæk near Fredericia. You should expect some travelling to our offices in Northern Europe in relation to your work. Areas of responsibility As Maritime Project Manager, you will play an important role in ensuring the offshore logistical set-up is in place to support our strategic targets for safety, further growth and reduced cost of energy. Your primary responsibilities will be to develop, support and implement best-in-class offshore logistics in relation to our operational offshore assets throughout the organisation. In relation to that, you will be responsible for supporting development of the logistical set-up for future wind farms, supporting operations at existing wind farms, as well as proactively identifying improvement initiatives for optimisation of current operations. Furthermore, your key duties will be to: support delivery and implementation of new vessels at sites support projects for development of logistics for wind farms in the pipeline develop and implement processes and procedures for improved safety and efficiency proactively identify and drive improvement initiatives aligned with strategic targets. You will be allocated to one or more projects, depending on the complexity of the project and your experience level. Furthermore, you are expected to travel to sites, when required in the projects and in relation to HSE investigations. Your profile You hold a Bachelor of Science degree, a Master of Science degree or another relevant degree within the maritime field or within engineering and logistics. Preferably, you have an operational maritime background and extensive experience with technical or project management within the logistics field. Additionally, you will have solid working experience with project management of complex projects, preferably within operations in large international organisations and supplemented with a certification in project management, for example PMI, IPMA or PRINCE2®. You will have thorough knowledge of the Microsoft Office programs, especially PowerPoint and Excel. Since you will be handling business partners at all organisational levels, it is essential that you have strong communication skills, enabling you to express and present information professionally. As we operate in an international environment, it is crucial that you speak and write English fluently. Furthermore, it will be an advantage if you speak and write Danish as well.
