Would you like to become part of a team of enthusiastic and determined people whose primary task is to reduce the cost of offshore wind? Join us and become Senior Project Lead of our Cost of Electricity product line in the Offshore Foundations Installation department. The department is part of Wind Power, which has 1800 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world's largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. You may choose freely to be based either at our office in Skærbæk near Fredericia or in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling in Northern Europe in relation to your work. Your key duties will be to •drive Product Line Cost of Electricity improvement projects to ensure cost savings or risk minimisation in our offshore wind farm projects •support the projects in our portfolio in the overall implementation of the identified improvement ideas with regard to engineering and execution strategy •manage the technical developments/improvements between the Foundation packages and our key stakeholders •take on a specific offshore wind farm project role for a limited amount of time if need be. Furthermore, you will be responsible for documenting and improving technical best practices across the Foundation packages, assisting the Module Technical Manager with the day-to-day technical work during the design, execution and construction of our pipeline of offshore wind farms. Your qualifications and core competences include that you •have a bachelor's or master's degree (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline (electrical, mechanical, marine, etc.) •have proven experience as a Senior Project Engineer within a similar project and industry •have the ability and experience to understand, develop and process technical issues and translate them into manageable economic and strategic solutions, driving down overall costs •can demonstrate your ability to work unsupervised, while being a strong team player in the project. Experience with offshore foundation installation is an advantage. Prior offshore experience is highly valued. On a personal level, you have very strong communication and interpersonal skills. It is essential that you are structured and a logical thinker, and project management skills are an advantage. You are fast thinking with the ability to work on technical solutions under pressure, both on site and in the office. It is expected that you have good IT skills and can confidently use Microsoft Office programs.
