About the department The job is based in our headquarter facility in Bagsværd, Denmark, where you will work in a helpdesk team within R&D Business Support. The department is part of the staff function to the CSO of Novo Nordisk. We work across the global organisation to support the execution of R&D pipeline projects through various IT tools, analyses, data collection and processing. The working environment is flexible and you will gain valuable experience with pharmaceutical R&D processes. The position Your most important tasks will be to support the R&D organisation in using the IT tools managed by R&D Business Support, maintenance of these systems, and provide our stakeholders with relevant data extracts. The support will primarily be provided by phone and email and you will get a broad contact surface to employees within Denmark and the rest of the world. Furthermore, you will be assisting the department with various ad hoc analyses and tasks. Our current helpdesk consists of two ambitious student assistants, and it is expected that you are able to work ~2 days a week (15-20 hours). Qualifications Ideally you are at the end of your bachelor degree in economics, engineering, IT, natural science or the like. You have a strong interest in IT systems and processes and excellent Excel skills as this will be your primary working tool. As you will be working closely with colleagues across the global organisation, partnership and relation building skills are important qualifications. You should be able to handle multiple tasks at once and mastery of spoken and written English is a must. You will naturally be subject to on-the-job-training and you will need to have an eagerness to learn. You are willing to take responsibility and ownership of the services provided.
