Lead a team of experts  
Joining our Science Management team within the Arla Innovation Centre, you will lead our Food Physics team, consisting of 8 specialists. As team manager, your goal is to enable your team to deliver projects and tasks according to scope and plan – you set the stage for your team to shine. Moreover, you develop your team by challenging existing processes to continuously improve their overall performance.

In addition, you will drive the agenda for the physics area, executing the strategy in close collaboration with our R&T community and product developers as well as the business, including the dairies. Thus, collaborating with relevant stakeholders across the organisation, you:

• execute our leadership ambitions within your team
• set the direction for your team, translating our overall strategy and mission into local business plans
• develop forecasts within the framework set by Corporate Finance
• understand market trends and encourage your team’s ability to deliver innovative solutions that define the future
• ensure high professional standards and delivery against well-defined business targets through programmes, projects and tasks

Strategic thinker with leadership ambitions
You have a master’s degree or preferably a PhD in food science, biotechnology, chemistry, engineering or another relevant scientific field. In addition, you have 4+ years of practical experience with food manufacturing or from an R&D environment. We do not require managerial experience, as long as you have leadership ambitions. Moreover, you speak and write English fluently.

To succeed as a team manager, you think strategically and set direction. You have great communication skills, and you know when to impose structures and when to stand back. With your engaging approach, you help build an atmosphere of commitment within your team – an atmosphere that inspires ownership and creative thinking.
