- to ensure optimal material flow for Offshore wind turbine projects Job ID: 188420 Location: Vejle Organization: Siemens in Denmark – Siemens Wind Power – http://www.siemens.com/windpower Mode of employment: full time For the Transport & Logistics department within our Project Management, Offshore organization based in Vejle, Denmark, we are looking for a Team Lead to lead and support our Project Management department to succeed in ensuring cost-competitive transport solutions from production to sites and back. What are my responsibilities? As a Team Lead of Project Logistics you will be responsible for execution of material flow for Offshore wind turbine projects. More specifically, your main responsibilities will cover: · Daily management of your team consisting of approximately 15 dynamic and skilled team members · Lead large and long-term projects within a complex infrastructure · Ensure transparency in the Offshore supply chain · Ensure development and implementation of improvement initiatives · Execute orders for components, tools, equipment etc. · Coordinate, communicate and maintain schedules and information from internal and external suppliers What do I need to qualify for this job? · You hold a Bachelor degree or similar within Supply chain or Logistics · You are an experienced and people oriented leader and due to your people skills you motivate your employees and colleagues through an open and direct communication · You have a solid background with a minimum of 3-5 year leading projects within logistics and transport from an international environment · It is important that you are able to handle many and complex tasks simultaneously · As a person, you are good at creating network and at establishing strong relationships In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
