Student Assistant, Human Health, Bagsværd, Denmark
Human Health is a newly established platform at Novozymes that develops innovative products to improve the health of people. We are a high-energy team with diverse backgrounds on a mission to develop solutions mainly aimed at the consumer care space. We focus on probiotics, enzymes, and other bioactives and base their development on strong scientific hypotheses and identified consumer demand.
We are looking for a student assistant to support commercial and innovation projects within Human Health. In this role, you will be working closely with a high performing team consisting of people with both technical and commercial background and contribute to e.g. market analysis, business intelligence, benchmark analysis, and expert interviews in order to gather insights for business development, marketing and innovation activities. You should expect a steep learning curve and a dynamic and challenging work day.
Some of your responsibilities will be to gather, analyze and benchmark data on industry, products as well as scientific substantiation (e.g. clinical trial data); perform market analysis incl. evaluation of size, growth potential and competitive intensity; estimate attractiveness of new opportunities from both commercial and scientific/medical perspectives; develop high-level business cases; provide support to execution of partnership agreements and other commercial deals and prepare presentations for internal and external use
The job is based in Bagsværd reporting to the Head of Business Development for Human Health, Thomas Kuhlman, but working closely also with Marketing, Partnerships, and Innovation departments. The required commitment is 15-20 hours per week. The schedule is flexible during exam periods.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master’s student in finance, business or marketing with a flair for and interest in technology/science or Bachelor/Master’s student within biological/medical sciences or engineering with a flair for and interest in business
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to consolidate information from multiple sources to derive insights
- Passion for working project-based with new market development and the ambiguity it entails
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent oral and written English skills
