Vestas Power Solutions (VPS) is where new product ideas or technologies are matured, developed, tested and improved. To put it short VPS is the cornerstone of Vestas, and we are shaping the future of modern energy.

Product Performance is a department within Vestas Power Solutions, and we are looking for a Senior Project Manager who will be part of our platform team.

Responsibilities
As Senior Project Manager - Product Performance your key responsibilities and tasks will be:

• Take ownership of and organise, plan and execute highly complex technical projects within virtually all VWS areas
• Interface and communicate with a large range of stakeholders across the entire value chain
• Establish and maintain close working relationships with the VWS Business Units and within VPS
• You will be working closely with the Sales Business Units, Production Business Units, Construction, Transportation, Service Organisations and all VPS departments to carry out the above tasks

Qualifications

The most important thing is that you know how a wind turbine functions and have a flair for project management of technically complex projects. Other important qualifications for success in this job are:

• Bachelor degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience from the wind industry
• You know how to manage your stakeholders efficiently by building and maintaining relations
• You are able to keep a sense of perspective under pressure and have a pragmatic approach
• You are persistent and flexible with the ability of making decisions and executing independently
• You are a convincing communicator who knows how to motivate project teams
• You speak and write English at a high level - additional language competencies are an advantage
• You hold a project management certification such as Prince 2, PMI or equivalent
• High level of experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• You are familiar with Vestas' systems and processes, ECM (Engineering Change Management) and CIM (Continuous Improvement Management
• Service, operations, construction or VPS related background preferred
• You are used to working with SixSigma and DMAIC tools

• You must be a self-starter with a strong bias towards results. Being proactive and persistent until results are achieved is crucial
• You have a high sense of urgency and are able to work in a fast-paced environment with at time limited information
• You are a high-functioning team member and an effective team leader
• You must be able to establish relationships across functions to ensure results
• You are able to handle multiple priorities in a cross-functional environment
• You should be comfortable operating in an environment with limited formal authority and decentralised decision power
• You are an effective communicator and should be comfortable presenting to all levels within the organisation
