Perform, promote and improve calibration at a global scale

In Elements & Moulds Validation (E&MV) in Billund, we are 50 dedicated colleagues responsible for measuring and approving the elements and moulds used across the LEGO Group. Here, you will become part of Metrology Development & Support (MD&S) along with 10 metrology specialists and technicians.

Together with two calibration colleagues, you are responsible for calibrating equipment across all locations in Billund. Also, you will engage with MD&S colleagues and local calibration technicians at our global sites to develop and ensure optimal calibration systems and practices throughout the organisation. More specifically, you will:

• Perform calibration of test and measuring equipment, primarily geometrical, either at the location of use or in the Calibration Lab in Billund

 • Provide support and guidance for users of measuring equipment in correct handling and usage to ensure robust measuring practices

• Drive cross-functional projects and activities in MD&S to improve the global calibration set-up, including developing workflows, processes, systems, instructions and documentation as well as implementing new technology

You should expect up to 20 travel days a year to meet with local calibration technicians at our production sites in Hungary, China, Mexico and the Czech Republic.

Hands-on calibration experience and solid collaboration skills

As a person, you have excellent communication skills, and you thrive collaborating across cultures and functions. You are a strong influencer, and it comes natural to you to navigate in a global organisation as an ambassador for sound metrology and calibration practices. Moreover, you:

• Have 5+ years of experience working with metrology and calibration, including experience in creating uncertainty budgets and working with geometrical measuring equipment

• Preferably have experience from a global manufacturing company

• Hold a technical degree, e.g. in measuring technology, toolmaking, production technology, mechanics, manufacturing or quality engineering

• Communicate effortlessly in English and Danish
