About the position
For our Project Management Office (PMO) in Offshore Sales & Projects, we are looking for an experienced PM Excellence process manager. The PMO is responsible for providing the processes, tools,and best practices for our standard of excellence in project management. The PMO also delegates Project Documentation managers and Project Coordinators into our customer execution projects. The candidate for this position will be responsible for improving and maintaining the standards, processes, and best practices for project management in Offshore project execution.
What are my responsibilities?
- You drive the definition of excellence in our project management practice based on industry standards, your own experience, and in close collaboration with the organization’s senior management team
- You ensure abstractJV_description of processes and best practices within our stage gate model and ensure they drive excellence in project management, are user-friendly, and continuously improved
- You further develop our gate review system pertaining tools, and support the implementation of related changes in our project teams
- You identify synergies and optimization potential in our use of IT tools within project management, and support roll-out of project-related IT tools in the PM organization
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- You hold a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in a relevant field
- You have 15+ years of experience working as a project manager of complex infrastructure projects; experience from working in a PMO is an added advantage
- You are passionate and highly knowledgeable about excellence in project management, and you are looking for an opportunity to pass on your knowledge to others in a positive, collaborative way
- You follow trends in digitalization and readily adapt new office technologies
- As a person, you are very structured, persistent, and ambitious in regards to the standard of quality in your work or that of your organization
- You are an excellent communicator both verbally and in writing, and your command of the English language is (close to) that of a native speaker
- You possess excellent cross-functional and interdisciplinary skills
