If you are ambitious, innovative, specialised in designing industrial cooling and heat pump systems, then you might be the new colleague, to be part of Ramboll’s expanding Industry department in Vejle/Arhus.

Your responsibilities as an industrial cooling specialist
As industrial cooling and heat pump specialist you will be a part of a strong professional environment, where you will be working closely together with a wide variety of specialists, all working to design world-class projects for our clients.

You will be involved in all stages of the projects, from initial idea to design and project completion. You will be overall responsible for the design of both complex and traditional cooling projects as well as heat pump systems for clients throughout Denmark. Going forward the strategy of the department is to expand to international projects as well. This will be led by the department and supported by Ramboll’s extensive network both in- and outside of Denmark.

Besides being involved with cooling and heat pump systems, your work will often be part of the total design of industrial facilities for our clients, who work together with Ramboll due to our expertise in the area.

Depending on your preferences, you can either be placed at Ramboll’s office in Vejle or Aarhus.

You and your competencies
The job as industrial cooling specialist entails close collaboration both across disciplines internally in Ramboll, but also with our clients. This means that you are client-centric, bringing the best of Ramboll. It is therefore an advantage if you are outgoing and solution driven, meaning that you are at ease with dealing with clients and can communicate complex technical services.

With your expertise in the area you are also naturally in a position to share your extensive knowledge with your lesser experienced colleagues. Being a part of a knowledge company of course also means learning a lot from others.

On a more professional note, we imagine that after finishing your education as a mechanical engineer, you have 5-10 years of experience from designing large and complex industrial cooling systems as well as heat pumps.

Proficiency in the Danish and English language is required. It will be an advantage if you previously have been working on international projects as well, however this is not a prerequisite.

Join the Industry department
You will be a part of the Industrial Projects department based at our office in Vejle. However, our team of industrial cooling specialists are located in Aarhus. We are currently 14 dedicated and passionate department members all managing our clients’ industrial building projects from start to finish on projects throughout the world.

All services are both rendered as independent disciplines and part of a broader consultancy service. This means that we have close strategic collaboration with local sub-consultants and with many departments within Ramboll – all with their unique expertise.
