We are looking for an experienced Senior Operation Quality Specialist ready to take on the challenges of a Team Lead role for daily operations in the Unix Platforms unit. You may have a background in Unix/Linux System or Database Administration, or from working in technology areas related to Unix/Linux environments, and are now looking for opportunities to grow in a rapidly developing IT landscape. The position we offer UNIX Platforms is part of IT Operations and we are responsible for supporting Nordea’s business applications and internal IT services with stable IT solutions. Here we use the latest technology, and you will be part of a strategic operational business unit with employees in Copenhagen (DK), Stockholm (SE) and Gdynia (PL). Our unit provides the Operating System and system software support for approximately 5000 Unix and Linux servers (Linux, Solaris, AIX, IBMi). We are responsible keeping the systems compliant to policies and standards, both internal and public regulatory. Our work is guided by a general Process Framework, and the work with adapting and optimizing our procedures and work items to this framework is performed in the team in cooperation with IT Process Management. In this position you will actively support stability at the operational level by being responsible for a process or task area in IT-Operations. Your responsibilities include: •Act as second level support for stakeholders on regional level and secure delivery of accurate solutions and feedback to ensure high availability for customers. •Actively drive and manage execution, analysing and proactive improvement of processes to contribute to optimal service performance and to enforce stable and robust IT deliveries. •Be responsible for own development with the ambition to achieve satisfying results. •Support other team colleagues in their development and thereby build skills and capabilities to achieve satisfying results. •Actively drive and carry out daily operational maintenance and interact with other IT teams to maintain stable operation and to achieve the service level agreement goals. •Actively drive and contribute in workshops, process analysis, design and implementation to support the Value Chain in taking decision regarding operation. •Take lead in planning of cross functional process development activities to contribute to continuous operational improvements. •Take lead in improving and optimizing process quality activities to contribute to efficient cost control and quality. •Maintain a close coordination with peer Team Lead for unit’s strategy and development activities. The position can be located in Sweden, Denmark or Poland. Sharing your knowledge and expertise with others, as well as having an open mind, is essential in your personality. To succeed in the role we further believe that you: •Have a relevant higher education and at least 5 years’ experience from a senior Unix/Linux specialist role, with experience from a large or medium sized international company. •Enjoy creating solutions and driving development in an enterprise context that ensures stability, continuity, and quality, and you achieve this by concerting team efforts and delegating responsibilities. •Have a business oriented approach and a problem solving mind. •Are an excellent communicator and able to get your point across in a large organisation. •Have a service oriented approach, where you enjoy helping and inspiring your colleagues.
