Development Engineer – Acoustics & Sound Quality

Are you a Development Engineer within Acoustics and do you care for premium sound quality? If so, you have now the opportunity to become part of our Audio Engineering team with expertise in Acoustic Design, Sound Quality Evaluation, Acoustic Production Test and Digital Signal Processing. Together, we develop acoustic solutions for the best communication, gaming and music headsets in the world. Passion for Acoustic design and Sound Quality Your responsibility will be to design the acoustics for microphones and speakers, support trimming of algorithms in the DSP and be part of evaluating the final product sound quality. You will have a broad interface throughout the company and therefore work closely together with DSP engineers, mechanical and manufacturing engineers, hardware engineers, project and product managers etc. You will need to use your passion and creativity for acoustic and overall sound design to ensure best in class products. Preferable you bring the following skills with you: •Relevant educational background – preferable at master level within acoustic engineering •Experience working with acoustic design & trimming of DSP-algorithms •Experienced within objective and subjective sound quality evaluation •Knowledge about measurement systems for acoustics and audio evaluation •Preferable, knowledge of SoundCheck and HEAD acoustics, ACQUA audio analyzers On a personal level you are: •Structured and familiar with planning of own tasks up against a project schedule •Team-player who manages to work with many interfaces but is also able to work independently •Responsible, self-driven and you take clear ownership in projects •Able to deal with complex problems and develop effective solutions on time •Having a logical operational attitude and approach •Proactive and daring to look ahead •Excellent communication skills in written and oral English; Danish is an advantage Joining Sennheiser Communications At Sennheiser Communications you meet all business departments under one roof - from software and hardware development over acoustics and sound quality, mechanical engineering, manufacturing to logistics, product management, sales and marketing and administrative support.
