Brief Description If you have solid experience within auditing and compliance, you now have the opportunity to play a key role as driver of FLSmidth’s financial compliance and governance. You will be trusted to build and drive a new internal control function complete with framework, policies etc. You will be part of our Group Finance department. We consolidate the internal and external accounts from all FLSmidth entities, perform financial controlling in our entities, develop and drive Business Performance and play an active role in managing the Group Financial Service Center and ongoing ERP implementation worldwide. Detailed Description Spearhead business critical activities and organisational development Your prime objective will be to develop and maintain internal compliance and governance structures. In addition, you will have the chance to define a control and governance framework of financial structures for the entire FLSmidth Group. In detail, you will: · Drive forward the financial compliance structure and develop new standards · Coordinate audits of group companies and secure a strict control environment within Finance, worldwide · Build up an internal control department from scratch during the next 2-4 years · Develop, instruct and guide your colleagues worldwide in financial compliance Reporting to the VP, Head of Group Finance, you will also be responsible for planning and facilitating the work in relation to the FLSmidth Audit Committee. The job will give you approximately 20–40 travel days per year and an immense zone of contact as you will continuously interact with e.g. the Financial Managers and Country CFO’s on a global scale. Job Requirements Academic with extensive auditing experience You have a Master’s degree in Business Economics and Auditing (cand.merc.aud.) and 5-8 years of experience from an international auditing firm. Preferably, you have a couple of years’ experience from an international enterprise as well. Your experience covers financial compliance, which enables you to write a policy and implement it worldwide. Down the line, the job may develop to include people management as well. As such, managerial experience and ambitions will benefit your application. To succeed, you must be self-driven and take responsibility for the progress of your tasks while taking pride in achieving the ambitious goals. Furthermore, you are an advanced user of Excel and familiar with PowerPoint.
