About the department Sourcing QA is responsible for Quality Assurance of Raw Materials going into all of Novo Nordisk A/S Products. We are responsible for Quality Assurance of our suppliers who are located all over the world. Furthermore we are assuring the foundation for release of the raw materials for use in the production of the many products produced by Novo Nordisk A/S. A combination of ensuring the high standard of the incoming materials, and involvement in investigations into quality issues, by the use of LEAN tools, is part of our daily work to improve and secure robustness in our internal processes. In total, we are 27 dedicated employees divided into two teams working closely together. The open position as QA professional is in the Raw Materials team consisting of 15 QA employees. The team is responsible for incoming raw materials and process aids used in all of Novo Nordisk A/S pharmaceutical products spanning both Biopharm and the Diabetes product portfolio. The team contributes to the high quality in development projects regarding raw materials for pipeline Drug Projects, by taking over the QA responsibility for the items at the point where a drug becomes marketed. The job As QA professional in Sourcing QA Raw Materials you will, together with your dedicated colleagues, be responsible for Quality Assurance of materials within a variety of categories. Due to our continous expansion the job will include a significant involvement into harmonization of raw material specifications globally and setup for sourcing of material to our international production sites. You will also be involved in handling costumer complaints, change implementation and investigations of non-conformities. You will be working closely together with QA for sourcing processes, RA, Purchasing/Logistics, Warehouse, QC, consuming departments and suppliers. Some of your tasks will be the approval of quality related documents and processes, and furthermore you will participate in relevant audits and inspections, which makes some limited traveling activities part of the job. You will continuously focus on ensuring a high compliance level in the supply chain, and you will have the opportunity to develop our internal processes and affect the way we work with our stakeholders both internally and externally. In a dynamic and challenging environment with short deadlines you are able to make clear prioritizations and take responsibility for customer requirements in many situations, including those where the solution is not obvious. Qualifications You hold a Master’s degree or equivalent in pharmaceutical sciences, engineering or a related discipline. You have a strong quality mindset and a good knowledge of GMP rules and of Quality Assurance in the pharmaceutical industry. Knowledge of chemistry, microbiology, raw materials, relevant production processes and internal processes in Novo Nordisk is an advantage.
