- IT - Denmark - Hillerød Do you want to be our future automation expert and a part of securing that our advanced automation utilities, which will control the production, will meet the quality standards and production need. About the department You will be part of the IT & Automation team – a dedicated project team consisting of 10 colleagues, with solid competencies within SAP, PAS-X, SCADA, PLC and IT infrastructure. The team has, together with our quality department, the responsibility for creating standards, documentation and the processes that will secure our future high quality automation standards at the factory. When all the processes are documented and implemented, you and the team will be responsible for maintaining the IT & Automation tasks on a daily basis. Aseptic Production Expansion (APX) in Hillerød is one of the many ambitious expansion projects in Novo Nordisk. At this moment we are about 100 people working in the new factory with many different kinds of tasks, but we expect to reach 450 new colleagues in 2019. We are located in a pavilion just beside the construction area and follow how the new factory is progressing. While we are busy reaching the project milestones, we make sure to have fun on the way. We involve each other in processes and decisions, communicate clear targets and try to give frequent, honest and respectful feedback. We care about each other. Plain and simple; Come grow with us and begin a life changing career in Novo Nordisk. The position As Automation Engineer you report directly to the Head of IT and Automation. It is your job to establish the new automation processes across the new factory and ensure user-friendly solutions in alignment with the IT direction. Among your primary responsibilities you count design, implementation and testing of Automation solution. This includes development of URS, test protocols and validation. You will be working in close collaboration with the different project managers in order to define the right automation solutions. Furthermore you will be involved in PLC / SCADA development and to some degree in the integration of SCADA to PAS-X. It is crucial that you are able to network, collaborate and work at a high professional level, both internally and externally. You are expected to work both independently and in teams. It is necessary to have a sense for details and also ensure an efficient and timely project execution. When required you will participate in 3rd level troubleshooting and secure proper documentation during the process. Qualifications You have a relevant higher education eg. Master degree within IT, automation, engineering or similar. You have minimum three years’ experience working with automation, systems implementation and automation projects; you have experience with PLC/Siemens and iFIX/SCADA solutions. You may have experience from the pharma industry and Aseptic Production and you have a structured approach for learning and analysing complex problems. Your attention to detail and clear understanding of the business and its future ensure that all tasks are handled appropriately and at the right time. Demonstrating strong communication skills, you are able to work across functions and borders and at all levels of the organisation. We expect that you are fluent in English.
