Nordea e-Markets seeks a new colleague with strong IT skills to develop and modernise the architecture, programs and tools used to achieve our goals. In this job, you will have an opportunity to work in a front office development team, close to Sales and Trading and get a feeling of what it is like to work in the first line of Capital Markets environment. The position we offer Nordea Capital Markets offer a developer position within the e-Markets team in Copenhagen Use your programming skills and become a part of a front office development team, creating digital solutions for Nordea Markets customers. Nordea Markets offers its customers a web based platform with research and financial information called Nordea e-Markets. The e-Data team within e-Markets secures the right universe and right quality of all financial data used in our platform. Driving and modernising the collection of Market Data Our mission is to upgrade components with the goals of efficiency and simplicity, benefitting from modern technologies and innovations. The candidate will be expected to take responsibility for design and implementation of new components and will be a part of the entire development process. The qualifications you need Excellent IT skills with strong problem solving ability You must have strong IT skills and a passion for the financial world; our primary language is C#, but we also have programs running in, PL/SQL and Excel/VBA. As the candidate will be involved in the entire process from idea to implementation, you must also be a strong and creative problem solver and excellent at stakeholder management. As we are in close cooperation with both Sales and Trading on a daily basis you need good people and communication skills and the ability to work as a bridge builder between IT and Business, making you understand the business requirements of our users. You probably have a master’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, finance or economics and have shown excellent results. Preferable you have at least two years of experience in a job where you have used your programming skills. Candidates with experience from the financial sector will be preferred.
